He is a master chef who has worked in Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Bermuda, Canada, Jamaica and New Zealand. Jan Lowndes
Jan has owned and operated a very busy cafe in the heart of Auckland and a restaurant in the suburbs, now living at Big Bay on the Awhitu Peninsula. Since the move to Awhitu Jan is now enjoying catering using local product as much as possible for picnics, lunches, parties, weddings, and dinners.
Meals prepared include
- A picnic cut lunch to be enjoyed on your first day
- A three-course evening meal consisting entrée, main course and desert
- Meals will vary according to the seasons and as much local produce as possible will be used to prepare meals.
- A sit down lunch, to be enjoyed, before you head of back to Auckland
