David Craig has been cattle farming for 37 years on the Awhitu Peninsula. His farm has a "Green Ribbon Award" a credit to the conservation/sustainability efforts of the Craig family in this rugged, wild and fragile west coast environment.
Itinerary
David will take you on the fully guided grade two 3-hour walks, which will delight, inform and amaze you. The stunning views encompassing wonderful land and seascapes, the native bush and resident songbirds, the Maori and European history, the modern practicalities of farming in New Zealand, all cheerfully explained and discussed as you go.
